For Physical and Spiritual Needs

“Since our greatest need is knowing the Lord and our greatest weakness is preoccupation with self, the first order of business in prayer is getting our eyes off ourselves and focused on Him” Carol J. Ruvolo (ref#228, p124).

“Here is what we have been called to pray: ‘Your kingdom come, your will be done, right here, right now in my life as it is in heaven’ (see Matt 6:10).  It is only in the context of the surrender of these words that Jesus welcomes you to pray about your right-here, right-now needs” Paul David Tripp (ref#190, Jan 28th).

Let us “take words with us” (Hos 14:2) and come before our FATHER in humility and great expectation—words on paper first then to be hidden in the heart through song.
