ADORATION

Screen Shot 2015-09-04 at 6.06.52 PM“Lord, my chief desire is to be rooted and grounded in Thee—God-centered and God-absorbed, God-enthused and God-loved. How eager my soul is to know Thee and be still” Oswald Chambers (ref#27, p17)!

These entries contain recorded facts, for it is essential to be informed or reminded again by GOD’s written Truth. But, further, we must be moved beyond the page of words to interact with GOD. We begin with sound doctrine, and then move to experience it. Sound doctrine comes first, not experience. We do not have an experience, and then adapt it into a doctrine (ref#79, p152). Let the words wash over you and buoy you up to GOD.

May GOD present Himself to you in these “Adoration” entries. See Him in familiar words—see Him in unfamiliar words as they paint a picture for you. May you step back in humility, and then be magnetized forward by His presence. Become purposefully lost in His closeness and emerge in inexpressible joy and thankfulness.
