ABSOLUTELY INEVITABLE
“Becoming a Christian is a profound, personal, and permanent encounter with the risen Christ that leaves us in no doubt that we have been made radically different” Alistair Begg (“Truth for Life” Instagram Post, 6/12/2018) .
FATHER, as I read 1stJohn I would say the book’s goal is to depict the actions of a Christian. Christians are unique—we naturally behave in a certain way. We don’t have to make an effort to do anything—we just are “radically different.”
CHRIST testifies to this in the Gospel of John: “…I know by experience those that are mine, and those that are mine know me by experience, just as the Father knows me and I know the Father…” Kenneth S. Wuest (ref#37, p238, [John 10:14-15]).
