GOD of All Comfort

FATHER, ____ is heavy on my heart. (He/She) needs Your comfort. You, FATHER, comfort ____ by putting to death all (his/her) comfort that doesn’t pertain to Yourself (ref#134, p64).

You give (him/her) eternal comfort and hope through grace; CHRIST comforts (his/her) heart (2 Thes 2:16-17). CHRIST says, “…I am with you always, even to the end of the age’” (Matt 28:20 NASB). You have imparted every comfort of
Yours to Your Son. He alone is ____’s consolation (ref#134, p62). He is (his/her) comfort and the HOLY SPIRIT is (his/her) Comforter (ref#134, p62).

FATHER, clue ____ that (his/her) troubles You send for one purpose—so that (he/she) might acquaint (himself/herself) with You (ref#134, p63). You allure (him/her) by bringing (him/her) into this affliction just for the opportunity to speak comfort to (him/her) (Hos 2:14). I thank You, FATHER, that ____ can find comfort in You.
