Laborers in the LORD’s Harvest

FATHER, I pray earnestly to You, the LORD of the harvest, to send out laborers into Your harvest (Luke 10:2). I pray that the financial, physical, and spiritual needs would be met for me as I serve as Your emissary among the nations (Ps 96:3).

May me make it my ambition to preach the Gospel, not where CHRIST has already been named, lest I build on someone else’s foundation, (Rom 15:20) but as it is written, …“Those who have never been told of him will see, and those who have never heard will understand” (Rom 15:21 ESV).

I pray that I receive power when the HOLY SPIRIT comes upon me (Acts 1:8). May You open to me a door for the Word, to declare the mystery of CHRIST (Col 4:3-4).

I pray that I continue to be willing to suffer for CHRIST no matter the cost. Help me deny myself and take up the cross daily and follow Him (Luke 9:23). Help me remember that if I am insulted for the name of CHRIST, I am blessed, because Your SPIRIT rests upon me (1 Pet 4:14).
